Rebalance in Action NYCW 2026

A curated, hands-on workshop for the working-level sustainability leaders on the ground executing climate strategy inside complex enterprises.

About the event

Come ready to participate in this hands-on workshop for sustainability practitioners at the enterprise level. Across two rounds of small-group sessions, you’ll choose the topics closest to your remit, compare approaches with peers, and build practical tools to take back to your team.

Building the program: Internal carbon pricing that changes behavior

Work through shadow prices, fees, governance loops, and how to make the case to finance. Leave with an internal carbon pricing checklist and a price-defense narrative you can use with your CFO.

Scope 3 strategy: Driving action and making progress

Discuss supplier engagement, insetting, book-and-claim, low-carbon fuel alternatives, multi-year offtakes, and how to allocate capital across competing priorities. Leave with a scope 3 capital allocation framework and a checklist for working with procurement.

Managing and communicating the program: Building the narrative when the data isn’t perfect

Explore how to handle CDP, CSRD, SEC, and voluntary claims when baselines change, data gaps remain, or methodologies are updated. Compare approaches to documenting judgment calls, reviewing claims, handling restatements, and communicating when a target slips.

The AI-in-carbon-workflow gut check

Compare real use cases across measurement, procurement diligence, and reporting. Discuss where AI is saving time, what data teams are comfortable sharing, who signs off on AI-assisted work, and where human judgment remains essential.

Procurement strategy and governance for carbon and EACs

Work through quality thresholds, due diligence, registry and methodology restrictions, vintage requirements, approval processes, and portfolio decisions across carbon credits, RECs, SAF, and other environmental commodities. Leave with a procurement decision tree and peer benchmarks on quality standards.

The morning includes breakfast and welcome, two workshop sessions, a working lunch, and structured peer readouts. The room will include around 30 VPs, senior directors, directors, and senior managers working across sustainability, climate, carbon, and ESG.

This is an invite-only, off-the-record working session led by practitioners who understand the operational realities of building climate programs. The conversation will stay close to the decisions teams are making right now, with each session designed to produce something useful to take back to work.
