COP30 in Brazil
Patch will join leaders in Belém to advance climate action

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change will host the 30th Conference of the Parties (COP30) in Belém, Brazil from November 10–21, 2025. Bringing together UN member countries and public and private stakeholders from across the world, COP30 is expected to center on countries’ strengthened 2025 Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) following the first Global Stocktake, and on operationalizing the new collective quantified goal (NCQG) on climate finance.
Patch will have a delegation on the ground in Belém, engaging with public- and private-sector leaders on gaps and opportunities to scale climate finance, including the role high‑integrity carbon markets can play in delivering Paris‑aligned outcomes.

Carbon Markets Roundtable: The Pragmatic Path to Net Zero for Corporate Sustainability Leaders
As companies move from ambition to action, the carbon market sits at a critical crossroads — one defined by both extraordinary potential and persistent complexity. What was once a space for climate pioneers has now become a proving ground for pragmatic leaders seeking measurable, credible, and financially sound pathways to net zero.
This invite-only roundtable will convene corporate sustainability and business executives to explore how market leaders are already leveraging the carbon markets today — from integrating carbon procurement into broader decarbonization strategies, to using internal carbon pricing, supplier engagement, and portfolio diversification to manage risk and drive measurable outcomes. Drawing on case studies from companies building transparency and accountability into their climate strategies, the conversation will focus on how trusted infrastructure and smart market design can align carbon action with resilience and real-world value.
Hosted by Patch and Goals House at COP30 in Belém, this session will bring together cross-sector voices to examine what a resilient, investable, and pragmatic future for corporate climate leadership looks like.
